Description

This femme fatale is actually my first original female character I created two years after I developed most of the main cast of male characters for Young Warriors. Feel free to color her as you see fit. Do not sell this as your own art, and if you use it, please give me credit via a link to my deviantART page. Thank you, and enjoy.

Again as with the other piece you requested critique on, my advice is to look more closely on how you express the human anatomy. The proportions are better in this piece than the previous, but you need to achieve a consistency. The main issues here are female proportions in particular - besides the boobs, the rest seem closer to male proportions. Generally, women have an hour glass shape figure - some more voluptuous and some less, but there is a biological reason for that shape. To draw better, you need to understand more of what you are drawing and again, this goes back to observation and study of the human anatomy. A really handy tip I find is that when unsure (especially when doing poses) and you can't find a suitable image reference is to look at yourself in the mirror - doesn't matter whether it's male or female you're drawing as long as you integrate the difference on paper/screen, but you can get the general sense of proportions.

I hope these words are of help to you - keep up the good work and have fun with your art :)
